Nylund remained at Rörstrand from 1931-1955, serving as their artistic director for the majority of his career. At Rörstrand, Nylund developed his innovative matte feldspar glazes, which were popularized by renowned ceramists Berndt Friberg and Carl-Harry Stålhane.
